USCIS is expected to specify the start and end dates for the 2022 H-1B Electronic registration period by February 16, 2021. AILA (American Immigration Lawyer’s Association) has requested that the Biden Administration delay the implementation of the proposed wage-based H-1B selection system so that it does not apply to the FY2022 registration process and that they announce all H-1B registration procedures and deadlines as soon as possible so that employers have sufficient time to prepare for the upcoming H-1B cap season.
