USCIS Informally Advises AILA on Priority Adjudication of H-1B Cap-Gap Cases

USCIS has informally advised American Immigration Lawyer Association (AILA) that it will prioritize the adjudication of H-1B visa applications in regard to F-1 cap-gap students who are prohibited from continuing employment after September 30, 2010. AILA has been advised that USCIS has the means to independently identify the H-1B change of status F-1 cap-gap student cases.
