DOL Statistics on H-1Bs from Second Quarter of FY2014

The Department of Labor (DOL) released statistics on the Labor Condition Applications (LCAs) for the second quarter of FY2014. A certified LCA is required for each H-1B application filed with USCIS. The statistics include the number of LCAs received, top occupations, states and employers, as well as the number of certified, denied, and withdrawn LCAs, number of positions requested and certified, and percentage timely processed.
