H-1B Approval Under the 2009 Cap Filing Filed via Normal Processing

Yesterday, 04/30/2008, our office received the first Approval Notice for an H-1B petition that was filed via normal processing in the 2009 H-1B Cap Filing. Our office had sent this H-1B petition to the USCIS on 04/03/2008 and received a Receipt Notice dated 04/14/2008. The adjudication for this petition took approximately 2 weeks for approval (the Approval Notice date was April 26, 2008), which may be the timeframe for other applications as well, if USCIS does not issue a Request For Evidence.
