H-1B Petitions Received by VSC

The USCIS Vermont Service Center (VSC) has reported that as of April 5, 2010, it has received 9,525 cap-subject H-1B applications. Of these 9, 525 applications, 6,791 were considered to be “regular” cap cases and 2,734 were advanced degree. Cases received before April 7, 2010 will be given a receipt date of April 7, 2010. Receipt Notices for cases received on April 7, 2010 or later will show the actual date of receipt. For premium processing cases the adjudication time of 14 days will commence on April 7, 2010.

The aforementioned numbers above do not include H-1B cap-subject applications received by California Service Center (CSC), as these numbers have not been made available as of yet.
