Form N-400s Continue to be Filed at Service Centers as Notice to Revise Direct Mail Program Withdrawn

The United States Immigration and Citizenship Services (USCIS) on September 12, 2008 had announced that all Naturalization cases (Form N-400) would be filed at a USCIS lockbox facility instead of a Service Center. This decision was to take effect on October 14, 2008. However, due to technical issues, the implementation of the lockbox filing has been delayed until the aforementioned issues have been resolved. All From N-400 should continue to be filed at the appropriate Service Centers according to the Form N-400 instructions. As of October 10, 2008, the Notice, which published the decision to use a lockbox, was withdrawn.
